FAQ & Other Info

When is the Best Time to Travel?

Ideal Travel Months: June and September are chosen for our tours to provide a balance of pleasant weather and fewer tourists. This timing ensures that you can enjoy Greece's beauty comfortably, with smaller crowds for a more intimate experience.

What Should I Pack?

Clothing: Greece experiences warm, sunny days and cooler evenings in June and September. We recommend packing light, breathable clothing for the day and a jacket or sweater for the evenings. Sun protection, including hats and sunscreen, is also advisable.

Electronics: Greece uses Type C and F power outlets. If you're traveling from a country with different socket types, it's important to bring appropriate power adaptors for devices such as laptops, cameras, and phones.

Tour Dates and Flexibility

Tour Duration: Our 8-day tours are meticulously planned to start and end in Athens for convenience.

Flexible Dates: We currently offer two tours; the first tour is from the 22 - 29th of June and our second trip is from the 12 - 19th of September. We can accommodate early arrivals or extended stays upon request, and assist in making the necessary arrangements for your additional days in Greece. For groups of 8 or more, we can work with you to schedule a trip around the dates you and your group prefer. Please just reach out for custom group dates!

Our Prices and Payment Options

What are the cost options for the trip? Louisa Farms offers two pricing tiers for your convenience:

  • Single Occupancy: Enjoy the privacy of your own room for $3,045.

  • Double Occupancy: Share your room for a reduced price of $2,835.

How can I reserve my spot and make payments? Reserving your Greek adventure is simple:

  1. Visit the “Reserve Your Spot” tab on our website.

  2. Select your desired trip dates and room preferences (single or double occupancy).

  3. Secure your reservation with a 20% refundable downpayment at checkout.

  4. The remaining balance is due by April 1st. While this payment is non-refundable, it is transferable to future trips, providing flexibility in case your plans change.

Airport Transport

Airport Transfers: We offer personalized transport services from and to the Athens airport for an additional fee. This service can be arranged in advance to ensure a smooth and hassle-free start and end to your journey. Alternatively, Athens airport is well-served by taxis and buses for those who prefer independent travel.

Passport and Visa Requirements

Passport Validity: Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned date of departure from Greece. This is a common requirement for international travel.

Visa Information: U.S. citizens do not require a visa for stays in Greece of up to 90 days. For travelers from other countries, visa requirements can vary, and we recommend checking with your local Greek consulate or embassy well in advance of your travel dates.

Banking and Payments

Bank Notifications: To avoid any issues with banking services while abroad, inform your bank of your travel dates and destination. This helps prevent security holds on your cards. Additionally, familiarize yourself with the locations of ATMs in Greece for convenient access to cash.
